My Chase will be 5 in a few weeks. I can’t believe it! We took a trip to the fabulous SF zoo this week and like any not-so-normal photographer mom, my main focus was to snap a few for his birthday invitation. Lesson learned: when you go to the zoo, it’s about the animals and not the pictures…duh mom. We’ll try again this week.

Over a year ago when Christine told me that she was *finally* engaged to her wonderful fiance (Brian) one of the first things I said (after congrats…and “it’s about time” lol) was “we have to find the PERFECT photographer for you!” We did just that, Katie DiSimone was the perfect photographer to capture Christine and Brian’s day…she even let me tag along and capture a few images of my own.
People ask all the time if I “do” weddings…the answer is always no, I just love baby and child photography too much to do weddings right now, but after this experience (it was tons of fun) I think maybe…someday…;)
anyway, on to the images. My youngest son (who is one of Christine’s Godsons) was the ring bearer. Things didnt’ go so well for Mr. Connor (as you can probably tell) but I will say that he *did* make it down the isle!

yep, they’re mine. I love black and white (normally what I print for myself). These have an old film look to them that I totally love. Just taking a little time today to take some of my kids…and scout new locations. Always working over here…

and we are officially “IN” the terrible terrific 3’s (as of last Monday…Happy Birthday!), the reason there aren’t any images of Con-man alone.
I took Chase out to scout locations for a session I have later in the week. He’s growing up so fast, he’s completely lost any baby look he could have and is full of attitude! I wonder where he gets that?
